Qiyam Ansari, VCAN President, pictured here in the gray suit, returns to his seat while receiving a standing ovation on September 18, 2024.  Qiyam had been invited by Allegheny County Council Member Anita Prizio to share his views on the County's Climate Action Plan.

Ms. Prizio is Chairperson of the Council's Sustaina-bility & Green initiatives Committee.  This meeting took place in the Courthouse's Gold Room.
